Glenavy Camogs Swing Into Autumn Season

Camogs 2

Busy week for Glenavy/Loch mor camogs as the Autumn season gets into full swing.

We welcomed Clan na Gael’s u8s, u10s and u12s on Tuesday night to Chapel Hill for small sided challenge games.

The u14s played in the first round of the Belfast u14 speed league on Friday night.

Saturday morning our u10s participated in the Sean McGuinness tournament at Sarsfields, reaching the shield final and Saturday afternoon saw our U12s play in the Francis McKillop tournament at Bredagh.

Thank you to all clubs for your welcome and hospitality.

Thanks to all parents, girls and coaches for all your efforts! Great week for camogie!

Work along our walking track has commenced and the track is now closed until further notice. This means 'Ireland Lights Up’ has been postponed for this week. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks.

Fantastic to see so many of our young people taking part in our Recipes for Success cookery night. Sincere thanks to Mrs Nolan and St. Patrick's, Lisburn, for hosting us. Some excellent nutritional tips and great food as well. Thoroughly enjoyed by all! #nsla #recipesforsuccess
